Zombie Survival Quiz

Ash Tales

Most people think they would survive a zombie outbreak. Most people also think they would stay calm, make sensible decisions, and never hide a bite. This quiz puts that confidence to the test.

You will face ten decisions from the first hours of the outbreak through to the long-term fight for survival. Your choices will measure your planning, composure, teamwork, and ability to adapt when the obvious plan fails.

Would you survive a zombie apocalypse?

How the zombie survival quiz works

Each answer adds points to one or more survival skills. It also affects your overall chance of surviving the outbreak. Practical choices usually score well, but there is not always one perfect answer: protecting a group, moving quickly, and avoiding immediate danger can require different decisions.

Your result is based on four skills:

  • Planning: preparing supplies, choosing defensible locations, and thinking beyond the next few hours.
  • Composure: staying calm enough to act when people around you panic.
  • Teamwork: communicating clearly, sharing responsibility, and protecting other people without putting everyone at unnecessary risk.
  • Adaptability: changing your approach when new information makes the original plan unsafe.

This is a quiz about zombie fiction, not real emergency guidance. Actual emergencies are generally improved by following official advice and made considerably worse by swinging a cricket bat in a supermarket.

What improves your chances of surviving?

The strongest survivors in zombie stories rarely rely on weapons alone. They notice problems early, avoid unnecessary fights, and work with people whose skills are different from their own. They also prepare to leave a safe place before it stops being safe.

Good survival decisions tend to have a few things in common:

  • They create more than one way out.
  • They protect clean water, medical supplies, and reliable information.
  • They avoid crowds, noise, and injuries that could have been prevented.
  • They balance compassion with sensible precautions.
  • They give the group a reason to keep going after the immediate danger has passed.

Zombie survival quiz FAQ

Is the survival percentage scientific?

No. The score is a consistent way to compare your choices, but it cannot predict how you would respond to a real crisis—or whether the zombies would be fast, slow, intelligent, fungal, or capable of opening doors.

Can I change an answer?

Yes. Use Previous question while taking the quiz. You can also take the full quiz again from the results screen.

Can I share my result?

Yes. The share button creates a link containing your answers. Anyone who opens it will see the same result. Your answers stay in the link and are not sent to Ash Tales or stored on a server.
