Those pesky little critters! Silverfish are notorious for their love of munching on items high in carbohydrates and cellulose. Their favorite snacks include:

1) Starch-based products like bread, crackers, and pasta.

2) Cellulose-rich materials like paper, cardboard, and book bindings.

3) Organic matter such as decaying plant material, moldy food, or dirty laundry.

They can even feed on the glue found in old books! If you're storing paper products or food supplies, make sure to keep them sealed, airtight, and dry. Even though they're tiny, silverfish can still leave a trail of damage behind.
